RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

🚀 We’re growing! BCG is looking for a FinOps Analyst to help optimize cloud spend across our multi-cloud ecosystem.

The Cloud FinOps team plays a critical role in delivering cloud cost transparency, reporting, and business value. We’re searching for someone passionate about bridging technology and finance—someone who can empower teams to elevate their cloud cost optimization game.

🔍 Who we’re looking for

A top-tier FinOps Analyst with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Whether you come from a FinOps background or cloud engineering, you thrive in transforming complex data into meaningful insights.

💡 What you’ll work on

• Partner with DevOps squads to strike the right balance between cost, quality, and performance.

• Develop forecasting, showback/chargeback, and variance analysis to support Global Technology domains.

• Advise internal customers on tagging, metadata, compliance, and overall cloud maturity.

• Contribute to improving our reporting, visualizations, and policy-as-code capabilities.

• Collaborate with leaders, engineers, analysts, and Finance/Accounting teams—occasionally presenting to senior leadership.

🎯 What you bring

✔️ Strong understanding of cloud services and billing concepts.

✔️ Experience with cost management tools (CloudHealth, Cloudability, Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Mgmt + Billing).

✔️ 3+ years analyzing, forecasting, and reporting cloud spend.

✔️ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams in english.

✔️ API knowledge and familiarity with financial processes.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

✨ Preferred qualifications:

• FinOps or cloud certifications

• Knowledge of Agile, Kanban, and tools like JIRA

• Experience with Python or cloud billing data automation
