We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our Platform team. You will contribute to our core application logic, design scalable APIs, and help optimize our data architecture. You will be a key member of the team, building features and improvements that directly impact thousands of users daily.

Your Role

You act as a core contributor to our backend services. You are responsible for writing high-quality code, solving complex architectural challenges, and ensuring our application performs well under load.

Core Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain robust APIs and business logic using Python and Django.
Database & Architecture: Design efficient data models and optimize database performance (PostgreSQL). You ensure our data layer is scalable and consistent.
Quality & Standards: Champion clean code, automated testing, and code reviews. You help maintain a high bar for software quality within the team.
Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and the Tech Lead to turn complex requirements into technical solutions.

Experience & Skills

Must-have:

Deep understanding of Python and Django
Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
Proficiency in English.

Should-have:

Experience with Docker and containerized development.
Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS).
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows.
Experience with automated testing tools

Nice-to-have:

Knowledge of modern Frontend frameworks (React/TypeScript) to understand the full stack.
Experience in the construction industry.
