Dataciders Catenate BG is looking for Senior Software Engineer with strong knowledge in NodeJS, Typescript and AWS to join the team. We develop our platform as a product using modern product management techniques and place a strong emphasis on a customer-oriented mindset and communication.
Tasks:
- Adding a new flavour to the Application Platform to enable Machine Learning model deployment, hosting and observability. This could involve automating CI/CD pipeline
creation or integrating existing standalone templates into the platform
- We are investing in AI and looking at how it can solve our existing issues. One example: Making it transparent how far services are from standardization and explore whether AI can bring the services closer to the standard
- An essential part of increasing adoption is also measuring whether that improves productivity. We are running a PoC with seven teams on the DORA metrics within Datadog
Next year, we may expand the coverage of services using Datadog APM and Datadog API for some instances, like frontend services
Skills /must haves:
Ability to create and consume REST APIs
Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
Familiarity with React
In-depth experience with Docker and networking
In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services and interacting with their services and API, for example knowledge in some but not all: CDK, Lambda, RDS, ALB, OpenSearch, ECS
Skills /nice to haves:
Pragmatism with an eye on how to simplify complex systems
A product mindset
Ability to drive technical decisions, to explain technical decisions and details at varying levels of
abstraction (including other engineers and management)
