Job Role: Full Stack Developer 

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with Bali business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday)

Compensation range: $3000AUD - $5000 AUD / Monthly

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be formally employed through an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you’ll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is:

Our client is a forward-looking tech company that specializes in AI-powered communication and support services. 

Role Overview:

The core focus will be building the foundation for integrating with multiple practice management systems. Day-to-day, they'll be handling complex backend development, designing system architecture, and migrating existing business logic from no-code platforms into our Node.js backend. They'll document our current systems, build out an abstraction layer for future practice management system integrations, and help establish coding patterns and practices for when we eventually grow the team. Essentially a tech lead role where they'll take ownership of our integration infrastructure and tackle the harder technical problems across the stack.

Tech stack 

● Backend: Node.js, Express, TypeScript, 

● Frontend: React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind 

● Database: PostgreSQL (Heroku) 

● Integrations: Cliniko API, Stripe, Twilio, VAPI

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 10+ years professional software development experience 

• Good portfolio of personal projects showing initiative 
• Strong backend skills: Node.js/Express, PostgreSQL, Typescript 
• Reasonable frontend skills: React + TypeScript (not primary focus but needed)
• Solid API integration experience with third-party platforms 
• Excellent written + spoken English 
• Has worked at both early-stage SaaS startups AND larger SaaS companies (needs to handle ambiguity but also knows good engineering practices) 
• Experience with using no-code tools like Make.com / n8n / Zapier (not an absolute must but valuable as a decent chunk of our backend will need to be migrated off no-code platforms) 
• Experience or deep understanding of system architecture / designing reliable, secure and scalable systems 

Nice to haves:

• Healthcare software or compliance background 
• Stripe, PMS, Vapi (or similar voice AI orchestration platform) integration experience
• Experience using AI tools, voice AI tech, prompting etc
