Job description

Remote | Part-Time

Workana Premium is partnering with AfterQuery, a YC-backed AI research lab. This is a part-time, task-based opportunity where you’ll contribute to the training of cutting-edge AI models by designing and documenting real-world engineering tasks.

About AfterQuery

AfterQuery is a research lab investigating the boundaries of artificial intelligence by advancing model capabilities. They are backed by top investors including Y Combinator, Box Group, ex-partners from Lightspeed and Index Ventures, and senior leadership from Google DeepMind and Meta GenAI. Their philosophy: great AI comes from exceptional, human-generated data.

Responsibilities

Develop technically substantial software projects that reflect real-world engineering environments.
Create structured development challenges accompanied by clear, detailed documentation.
Build deterministic test suites to verify correctness and reproducibility.
Containerize tasks with Docker to ensure consistency and reproducibility.

Requirements

Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, Rust, C/C++, etc.).
Experience architecting or maintaining multi-file software projects.
Hands-on experience with Docker or similar containerization tools.
Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
Based in Latin America.

Preferred:

Experience with full-stack architectures or end-to-end application development.
Exposure to testing frameworks, build tools, or code-quality workflows.

Benefits

Contract: Part-time, per-task basis
Compensation: $50/per task
Location: 100% Remote

This is a part-time, task-based opportunity, which allows you to work on other projects in parallel!
