About the Role

Engineering is the heart of our technical excellence. We are looking for people who are able to analyze complex insurance domains and build high-quality API and microservices in cross-functional product and project teams.

CoverGo is a Kubernetes-native platform that consists of around twenty microservices exposed via a GraphQL gateway (https://api.covergo.com/playground), based on latest .net versions.

What You Will Do

• Oversee backend architecture and help to keep our technical standards
• Design interaction between components of the system
• Be responsible for the high-level coherence of the system
• Help backend leads make good design decisions
• Help us design, build, grow and maintain our services
• Apply your skills to develop robust and scalable software

What We Need

• Proven experience as a Software Architect or similar role in a complex, scalable environment
• Extensive experience with .NET framework and .NET Core
• Strong knowledge of cloud-agnostic tools and platforms, including Grafana, Kubernetes (k8s), GraphQL, and REST
• Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architectures
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

It'll be nice if you have some experience in the areas:

• MS/BS in Computer Science or a related degree
• Experience in Event sourcing, CQRS, and DDD (Domain Driven Design)
• Experience with database technologies like MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Read and understood books from Vaughn Vernon, Eric Evans, and Martin Fowler
• Experience or knowledge in BDD
• Event Storming or Event Modeling
• GitHub Actions
• Cloud Computing platforms: Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba etc.
• Insurance and fintech experience
• Kubernetes
• GitOp
