This role will lead the adoption of GenAI/LLM use cases within BARDS RWE Capabilities, focusing on a centralized repository for RWD data quality/fitness information and pragmatic integration of LLM-assisted tools into analytic workflows. The contractor will drive requirements, coordinate with Platform and IT teams, oversee delivery, and ensure solutions are usable, compliant, and aligned to the needs.
Responsibilities:
- Data quality repository and retrieval:
- Define scope, requirements, and criteria for a centralized repository that stores and links RWD data quality and fitness-for-use artifacts.
- Align metadata, taxonomy, and access needs with Data Governance and Platform teams.
- Coordinate with IT and Platform to enable secure search and summarization of repository content using approved genAI frameworks.
- Integrate LLM into analytics workflows
- Gather and document use-cases from internal data scientists and analysts to understand the utilization of various internal genAI integrated analytic tools (e.g., GIthub copilot, Claude code, Client eternal tools, etc) and LLM foundation models in analytic works
- Develop a plan, tutorials, instruction markdown files and examples to integrate genAI analytic tools into internal analytic workflow
Experience and skills
- Experience in collaborating with IT, platform teams, and navigating across technical side of a corporate
- Proficiency in using R or Python, SQL, Git on data analysis
- Familiar with VScode or Jetbrain or similar IDE tools
- Working knowledge of LLM concepts (e.g., retrieval, summarization, prompting) and enterprise genAI tooling; can evaluate solutions and make trade-off recommendations.
- Proficiency communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders; strong documentation and change management skills.
- Nice to have:
- Experience in Microsoft 365 power tools
- Experience in designing (any) workflow leveraging genAI capability
- Experience in working with database (Redshift, MySQL, etc.)
- Experience in using Docker and any genAI CLI tools
- Candidate must be self-directed, proactive, and resourceful. Must be capable of working with limited daily direction. Some RWD and/or Observational data experience is a plus
