Job Overview: We are seeking a Testing Analyst with strong experience in Clinical Operations systems, particularly Veeva Vault and CTMS. This role will play a critical part in supporting system deployment, validation, and testing activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test planning, script design, execution, and documentation, along with a solid understanding of business processes and user requirements within a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
Work from documented test plans to design and develop test scripts for new and existing systems.
Conduct and participate in walkthroughs of application tests to ensure test coverage and accuracy.
Execute various test phases, including unit, system, integration, regression, and stress testing.
Support system validation and CSV activities, developing test cases and executing test scenarios in accordance with regulatory and business standards.
Drive and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) — coordinate with business users, capture results, and ensure all issues are tracked, resolved, and documented.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and system owners to align testing efforts with system functionality and user needs.
Ensure requirements traceability through all stages of testing and validation.
Document defects and coordinate with development teams for timely resolution.
Contribute to workflow documentation, user story refinement, and business process optimization.
Participate in workshops with vendors and business users to review functionality and testing outcomes.
Take ownership of assigned testing activities, maintain testing schedules, and support smooth system deployment and adoption.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in testing or validation roles within Clinical Operations or Life Sciences systems.
Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault Clinical or CTMS preferred.
Strong understanding of system validation, CSV principles, and testing methodologies (unit, integration, UAT, regression).
Experience using JIRA or similar tools for test case management and defect tracking.
Ability to write and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
Solid communication and coordination skills — able to work effectively with technical and business teams.
Self-starter with strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
