Sr. F# Developer

Job Opportunity: Sr. F# Developer

We are looking for a Senior F# Developer to provide ongoing support and evolution of a legacy system built in F#, with a mid-term objective of progressively migrating the platform to Node.js. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, experience working with legacy codebases, and the ability to collaborate in a technical migration process.

Responsabilities:

Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance a legacy application developed in F#.

Ensure system stability, performance, and reliability.

Collaborate in the design and execution of a gradual migration to Node.js.

Analyze existing business logic and translate it into a modern architecture.

Work closely with engineering and product teams to plan technical improvements.

Produce clear technical documentation during support and migration phases.

Requirements:

Senior-level experience with F# in production environments.

Experience supporting and evolving legacy systems.

Node.js experience is a strong plus; candidates with strong F# experience and willingness to transition to Node.js are encouraged to apply.

Solid understanding of software architecture and refactoring strategies.

Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of a critical system.

English level: minimum B2

Remuneration:

Compensation in US dollars as contractor.
