Intern Software Engineer

Team Summary

Our team designs and operates scalable data-processing systems focused on efficient data ingestion and secure data lifecycle management. We develop and maintain both collection and deletion pipelines, as well as the automarkup system that enables automated data annotation.

Job Summary

We’re looking for an intern who’s eager to grow into a strong software engineer. You’ll work alongside our team on real production systems, contributing to the development.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Learn and navigate the codebase quickly to contribute to real product features, solving problems thoughtfully, and completing tasks with minimal guidance
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable backend code with mentorship and code reviews from senior engineers

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic knowledge of Python or another backend programming language
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and core CS fundamentals
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Basic experience with Linux command line and scripting
• Ability to read and write RESTful APIs or similar backend interfaces
• Intermediate written and verbal English

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar)
• Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and basic data modeling
• Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
