Full Stack Developer

Description:

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Web Developer to join an exciting government modernization contract. This role will be responsible for modernizing legacy web applications using React, NodeJS, and other languages as necessary.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React JS for the front end and Node.js for the back end
• Implement containerization technologies and a microservices architecture
• Support all aspects of software development (designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining products)
• Translate customer needs into user stories and deliver working capabilities at the conclusion of each sprint
• Develop modular backend APIs and services
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and agile development processes
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience working with React JavaScript and NodeJS
• At least 1 year experience with relational database management systems and PL/SQL
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Kubernetes (K8s)
• Solid understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with version control systems (Gitlab, Bitbucket)
• Experience writing clean, usable and well documented code
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with the Go/GoLang programming language.
• Proficiency with OpenLayers v8+
• Familiarity with MapBox Tippecanoe, GeoServer, and other geospatial technologies
• Experience with Oracle 19c or newer, and Redis.

• Candidate must be a US citizen able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
