In this role, you will:
Experience with Customer/1 and Customer Information System (CIS) to support the transition to a new CIS.
Review code in COBOL and C modules to determine logic flow, data fields, and data transformation.
Translate code into business and technical specifications to support interface design in the new CIS.
Document interface requirements and mappings for both batch and real-time information flows.
Partner with business stakeholders, developers, and the CIS implementation team to ensure requirements are clear and complete.
Support the documentation of 235 interfaces and approximately 2,700 information flows for transition.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of interface mapping to meet business and system needs.
Who You Are:
10+ years of experience working with Customer/1 and Customer Information Systems (CIS).
Energy and Utilities industry experience.
Strong understanding of COBOL and C code (ability to read and interpret code logic).
Experience with interface mapping and translating legacy systems into specifications.
Knowledge of data flows (batch and real-time) and data transformation processes.
Ability to work independently and collaborate across technical and business teams.
