Software Testing Engineer (QA Manual)

We are looking for a skilled  Software Testing Engineer with strong manual QA experience to validate web applications and native TV platform apps

Remote Position – Strong English Skills

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and maintain test cases aligned with acceptance criteria; execute and validate results.
• Conduct functional testing (integration, E2E, UAT, regression, smoke, sanity) for web applications and native TV apps.
•  Report defects and validate fixes using tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Analyze requirements and user stories, contributing to the refinement of acceptance criteria with clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers (frontend and backend) to diagnose root causes and accelerate defect resolution;
• Support test data creation;
• Provide production support and perform certification requirements analysis for TV apps.
• Conduct UI, localization, and API testing; use Chrome DevTools and troubleshooting tools during validation.
• Contribute to backlog cleanup, prioritization, and meeting deadlines in agile cycles (Scrum/Kanban).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in manual QA for web applications and TV apps, with expertise in test design techniques, test levels, and types (functional, integration, regression, E2E, UAT, smoke/sanity).
• Experience with test case management (TestRail and/or Azure DevOps) and bug tracking (Jira/Azure DevOps).
• API testing using Postman and Swagger; ability to read JSON and basic knowledge of SQL/NoSQL for data validation.
• Ability to analyze requirements, communicate risks/findings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Dev, BA, DM, Architecture).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD practices focused on quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• · Experience with streaming platforms and personalization analytics, including Adobe Analytics/Amplitude.
• · Background in e‑commerce (e.g., Adobe Commerce/Magento, Braintree) and CMS (e.g., AEM Sites & Assets, Contentful, Drupal/Acquia).
• · Experience with Charles Proxy, Requestly, and SauceLabs for troubleshooting and remote grid automation.
• · Basic knowledge of React/React Native and use of Chrome DevTools for front-end inspection.
