Our client is seeking a Contractor to perform mechanical piping and pressure vessel component design.
Tasks:
Perform ASME design specification detailed design requirements and code application basis work, including technical reviews and independent design verification functions
Perform critical dimension and functional limit analyses and evaluations
Perform subcomponent joint design standards and criteria specification work
Perform gaskets and seals selections and specification work
Qualification indoctrination to client's quality program to perform preparation or verification activities
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Knowledge of ASME BPVC Section III, Division 1, particularly in subsections NB, NG, and NF
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant equivalent program from an accredited university
Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience. Experience level may be partially substituted for advanced degree depending on position relevance, PE desired.
Certifying Engineer, qualified to ASME Sect III, Mandatory Appendix XXIII, for reactor support components (Subsection NF) desired
Strong communication skills desired.
