Responsibilities

• Design and build an advanced application for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Monitoring the performance of live apps and working on optimizing them at the code level
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements

• 4 years of development experience in Android App Development as Mobile App Developer
• Strong knowledge of Google’s Android design principles and guidelines
• Experience with location-based services and mapping APIs (e.g., Google Maps, HERE, TomTom), commonly used in automotive applications for vehicle positioning and route planning.
• Experience with Android SDK, third-party libraries and APIs
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Familiarity with various testing tools
• You have experience in publishing an application on the Google Play store
• Candidate must be based in Poland

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive industry
• German language (B2 level)
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, CI/CD
• Good time management skills
