Founding Software Engineer (Python + JS)

What youll actually be doing

As a Founding Software Engineer, you'll work directly with the founders and have meaningful impact from day one. You won't just ship features — you'll shape systems, standards, and culture.

You will:

• Build and scale complex data-capture workflows Across web (Next.js) and desktop (Python), supporting agentic and high-reasoning datasets.
• Design high-throughput data pipelines. Architect systems that handle heavy load, stay reliable under pressure, and evolve quickly.
• Ship fast with tight feedback loops. Small team, high trust, zero bureaucracy.
• Set engineering standards early. You're not inheriting best practices — youre defining them.
• Lay the foundation for a LATAM engineering hub. This role is a key step in building a world-class LATAM engineering presence.

Who were looking for

• 4–10 years of experience as a full-stack engineer

• Strong focus on Python + JavaScript / TypeScript

• Frontend-leaning, but comfortable owning backend and infrastructure decisions

• Experience at a reputable, fast-growing startup

• Proven ability to build and scale complex data workflows

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity with high expectations

Hard skills we care about

• Next.js, React, Node.js

• Python (non-negotiable)

• AWS or GCP (serverless experience is a big plus)

• Kafka (or RabbitMQ), Redis, Elasticsearch

• Kubernetes experience is a strong plus

Soft skills that matter here
