About the role

Are you a university student in your final year, eager to gain hands-on experience and kickstart your career in web development? Ruby Labs is seeking a passionate Junior Developer to join our team and work on exciting projects that blend technology with innovation. As a Junior Developer at Ruby Labs, you’ll have the unique opportunity to develop comparison and review websites in collaboration with our experienced developers. This role is designed to give you practical exposure to building high-performing, user-friendly web applications using Next.js and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers and other team members to design and implement software solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.

• Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Assist in debugging and troubleshooting application issues.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to improve your skills continuously.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic final-year university students with a background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with JavaScript and Next.js.

• Passion for creating efficient, visually appealing, and user-friendly applications.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tailwind.

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
