Sales Development Representative


Are you a proactive, driven professional who loves connecting with people and converting opportunities into new business? Woom Bikes, a global leader in high-quality, lightweight bikes for kids, is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to join our team! In this role, you’ll be essential to our mission of bringing the joy of biking to children everywhere by identifying and connecting with potential customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the woom product line and value proposition, enabling you to clearly communicate how our products solve unique challenges for our target customers.
  • Outbound Campaigns: Build and execute high-impact outbound campaigns to generate sales opportunities, engaging in a high volume of daily calls and emails to target specific customer channels.
  • Research & Targeting: Use tools like LinkedIn, Apollo, industry news, and other data sources to strategically engage with target roles and industries.
  • Messaging & Testing: Create, test, and refine messaging that resonates with potential customers, driving meetings with prospects and conversions to new business.
  • Needs Assessment: Assess prospective customer needs and recommend the most suitable woom products and services.
  • Inbound Calls: Respond to inbound inquiries and route them to the appropriate team members.
  • Record Keeping: Keep detailed call records and stay highly organized to manage customer interactions effectively.
  • Meeting Booking: Set up meetings for sales team members as directed by leadership.
  • Outbound Goals: Execute 50+ outbound calls weekly, hitting or exceeding targets to drive new business growth.
  • Lead Generation: Cultivate warm leads and build rapport with potential customers until they’re ready for the next step.
  • Persistence & Tenacity: Stay motivated through challenges, with a go-getter attitude that turns “no” into “YES.”

Success Metrics

  • Outbound Activity:
    Complete an average of 50+ outbound calls per day and targeted email outreach in line with campaign priorities.

  • Pipeline Creation:
    Generate 20 qualified meetings per month (set target by channel), consistently converting outbound activity into sales opportunities.

  • New Account Development:
    Support the onboarding of 20 new retail doors per month, ensuring accurate handoff to Account Managers or leadership.

  • Conversion Effectiveness:
    Achieve a minimum call-to-meeting conversion rate of XX%, with continuous improvement through messaging testing and refinement.

  • Product Adoption Influence:
    Contribute to a 20% increase in order volume by promoting the full woom product lineup (bikes, accessories, WOWs) during discovery conversations.

  • WOW Program Outreach:
    Drive 50% WOW outreach penetration across targeted prospects and newly onboarded accounts.

  • IBD Growth Contribution:
    Support overall 50% growth in Independent Bicycle Dealer (IBD) acquisition through consistent prospecting and lead qualification.

  • CRM & Process Excellence:
    Maintain 100% accurate and timely CRM activity logging, including calls, notes, follow-ups, and meeting outcomes.

  • Responsiveness & Follow-Through:
    Respond to inbound inquiries within 24 business hours and ensure seamless routing and follow-up.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in outbound cold-calling sales.
  • 1+ years in outbound sales or customer service.
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Competitive, curious, and passionate about making a positive impact.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and people skills.
  • Empathy and understanding of business drivers and customer challenges.
  • Sense of urgency and the ability to work with speed and efficiency.
