Facility Credentialing Coordinator
Location: Remote
Pay Rate: $20–$25/hour
6- Month Contract

 
4 Corner Resources is seeking an experienced Credentialing Coordinator. This fully remote role focuses on facility and vendor credentialing across multiple states and plays a critical role in maintaining regulatory compliance, network accuracy, and audit readiness within a payer environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end facility and vendor credentialing in alignment with managed care policies and regulatory requirements
  • Verify and maintain facility licensure, accreditation, certifications, and compliance documentation
  • Prepare credentialing files, reports, and summaries for internal review and committee approval
  • Support and coordinate facility oversight, regulatory, and vendor audits
  • Maintain accuracy of provider and facility directory data to meet compliance standards
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely credentialing and issue resolution
  • Track, document, and resolve credentialing discrepancies; escalate compliance concerns as needed
  • Identify opportunities to improve credentialing workflows, documentation accuracy, and turnaround times
 
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of credentialing experience, with a strong focus on facility credentialing and managed care environments
  • Proven experience working with hospitals, clinics, or healthcare facilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Must reside in one of the following states:
    AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, LA, MS, NC, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NY, OK, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WV, WY
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience credentialing facilities using CAQH or similar credentialing platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience supporting managed care, health plans, or payer organizations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe, and Access
  • Experience with SAS and/or SQL is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
