MicroStrategy Developer - APEXON - $60 - REMOTE
Role Description:
Gathering dashboard requirements from the Business Analysts and Business Users. Communicating with other team members offshore about client requirements, creating Schema Objects like Attributes, Facts, Transformations and Hierarchies etc.
Develop Public Objects like Metrics, Prompts, Filters, Consolidations, Custom Groups, Templates, Reports and Dashboards etc. depending on the requirements.
Develop MTDI Cubes and performance tuning.
Must have experience of writing SQL's and good knowledge of Data Warehouse.
Create ad-hoc reports and freeform SQL reports.
Must experience To have software development experience in a large
-scale organization
Have migration experience from other BI tools
You'll have (Qualification & Experience):
Experience in administrating MicroStrategy on UNIX, LINUX, and Windows environments
Experience in Object Manager, Project Merge Wizard and Project Duplication
Hands-on experience in System Manager, Command Manager, Integrity Manager and Object Manager
Experience in creating different database instances.
Hands-on experience in databases like Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Databricks, MySQL and Db2
Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts
Good in designing functional/ technical specifications, designing dimension model, development, deploying, testing and debugging
Expert knowledge on MicroStrategy Reporting/ Cubes
Extensively worked in creating the MicroStrategy Complex Reports Ad-hoc Reporting, Freeform SQL Reports and Datamart Reports
Setting up user security, managing users and group, controlling access to functionality & data and managing modes of authentication
Experience in Applying Hotfixes/ Patches to MSTR Software (Client/ Server/ Office) to fix the bugs
Strong experience in MicroStrategy Suite of Tools for designing Dashboards and reports based on intelligent Cube and freeform SQLs in version 10 and above
Strong experience in creating data models and architecture in MicroStrategy Experience in
Experience in visualization tools like tableau or power BI.
Experience with Big Data eco system Spark, Hive, Hadoop, Kafka, Columnar Databases.
Experience with various offerings from AWS and Azure.
