About The Role

The Client web Platforms & SRE initiative is looking for a UX-focused frontend developer to help improve the tools we build that our customers rely on to build and developer features at Client. We need someone to level up our interfaces, primarily for the web, by identifying customer needs, collaborating with other team members to build a project plan, and making the necessary changes to improve the experience of using our tools.

We are a full-stack company, so even though your main focus will be on the UX and frontend, you will also be expected to make any required backend changes to support your UX or frontend improvements.

Client's backend is PHP + MySQL and the frontend is a mix of React and jQuery.

Requirements

Must-Haves

• Expert web frontend development experience, especially with React
• UX/User Experience design
• Intermediate backend development (ideally in PHP, but Python and Ruby are also good)

Nice-to-Haves

• Previous experience building dashboards and reporting platforms
• Previous experience building interfaces for internal customers
• Advanced knowledge of PHP
