CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – ZOS position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
• Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe-based applications within a z/OS environment.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to design effective software solutions.
• Support and troubleshoot COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS programs and processes.
• Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support healthcare claims processing systems.
• Work with CAMMIS application components to implement updates, improvements, and fixes.
• Provide production support and ensure system stability, performance, and reliability.
Skills:
• Mainframe development expertise
• COBOL programming
• JCL scripting
• DB2 database experience
• CICS transaction processing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of healthcare claims processing
• Knowledge of CAMMIS application
Experience:
• Proven experience developing and maintaining applications in a z/OS mainframe environment
• Hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS
• Experience supporting healthcare claims systems preferred
• Prior experience with CAMMIS highly desirable
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
