Job Title: Copywriter
Job Location: Bolingbrook,IL(Remote)
Contract Duration: 6+Months


Note : Remote however preference is given to local candidates (Chicago metro area)

The Copywriter will be responsible for delivering strong, consistent writing that reflects and elevates brand voice across digital channels. This role partners closely with the copywriting team to develop copy for email, mobile push, and landing pages.

The ideal candidate understands how language and tone vary by audience and channel and can pivot quickly. They enjoy writing short, engaging copy that encourages action and communicates beauty in fun, relevant, and relatable ways. A strong awareness of culture, lifestyle, and trending voices is essential.

This role requires a self-starter who can work independently while also collaborating closely with design partners, managing multiple tasks with guidance from a digital copy manager.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implements brand identity and voice into every assignment.
  • Works within brand standards to create a consistent, omni-channel guest experience.
  • Contributes to editorial brainstorms and ad-hoc requests, offering ideas to improve copy cohesion and alignment across channels.
  • Manages multiple workstreams while prioritizing deliverables and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrates efficiency, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to deliver copy quickly when needed.
  • Collaborates with design partners to ensure continuity across digital touchpoints.
  • Maintains awareness of current trends, culture, design systems, and editorial influences.
  • Adapts to changing business needs that support overall brand goals.
  • Proactively seeks information while knowing when to ask for guidance.

Job Requirements

  • 1–3 years of copywriting experience.
  • Comfortable working with Generative AI tools.
  • Experience in agency, beauty, retail, or editorial copywriting is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with creative and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic, critical, and creative thinker.
  • Action-oriented, self-motivated, and able to prioritize effectively.
