Overview
Razor is seeking a
Jr. Frontend Javascript Developer for a
long-term, remote federal government contracted opportunity. The developer will design, develop, and implement web-based client applications using various front-end tools and technologies to support business requirements. Responsibilities include adhering to Agile life cycle methodologies, following modern JavaScript coding standards, resolving technical issues through debugging and research, and collaborating with Business Analysis and UI/UX teams.
Education & Certification Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a Technical/Information Technology/Computer Science
Clearance Requirements
Public Trust Clearance and/or ability to obtain
Onsite Requirements
100% Remote/potential onsite Hybrid (Washington DC) Nations Capital Region.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement web-based client applications.
- Follow approved Agile life cycle methodologies.
- Adhere to modern JavaScript coding standards.
- Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
- Interface with Business Analysis and UI/UX teams.
Qualifications
- Strong experience developing client-side applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (Ember, React, Vue, Angular).
- Experience consuming back-end APIs and working with front-end data layers or client-side data modeling tools.
- Proficiency with HTML, Handlebars, CSS, SASS, and Bootstrap.
- Extensive experience writing front-end automated tests using JavaScript testing frameworks (qunit, mocha, jest).
- Working knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git).
- Experience providing production support and issue resolution.
Desired Skills
- TypeScript development experience.
- Experience working within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) development environment.
- Familiarity with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
