CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Java & Web Technologies position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications based on the Java/JEE technology stack.
Utilize Java frameworks and languages such as Ruby or Groovy for web development.
Implement transaction management and manage Java objects across applications.
Integrate enterprise systems and ensure seamless communication between different platforms.
Apply dependency injection, inversion of control, aspect-oriented programming, and functional programming principles.
Develop solutions using test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.
Work with data access frameworks, transaction management frameworks, and batch processing techniques.
Collaborate with DevOps teams and apply DevOps methodologies and tools to streamline application deployment and management.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in Java/JEE, web frameworks, and enterprise application development.
Experience with application frameworks, Guice, BOQ, and related technologies.
Solid understanding of dependency injection, inversion of control, and aspect-oriented programming.
Knowledge of functional programming and test-driven development.
Experience with data access frameworks, transaction management, and batch processing.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and toolsets.
Experience:
Proven track record of designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level Java applications.
Hands-on experience with web technologies and application frameworks.
Exposure to DevOps processes and tools for application deployment and automation.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
