CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – RDBMS position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months
Duties:
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain relational database applications across Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms.
Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
Develop and support database-centric applications, ensuring performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
Perform database design, data modeling, and schema development aligned with application and business requirements.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting of database applications and data issues.
Collaborate with application developers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Support database deployments, upgrades, and performance tuning initiatives.
Ensure adherence to development standards, best practices, and documentation requirements.
Skills:
Strong expertise in relational database concepts and RDBMS application development.
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL.
Experience with RDBMS platforms on Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.
Solid understanding of data modeling, normalization, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
Experience with database security, access controls, and data integrity practices.
Familiarity with version control systems and SDLC methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an Application Developer focused on RDBMS solutions.
Proven experience developing and supporting database-driven applications in enterprise environments.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
