CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer – Functional position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Lead functional QA for large-scale CIS transformations, including billing and financial integrations.
Define and execute QA strategy for complex system integrations (Oracle C2M, TIBCO, MDMS, CRM).
Manage end-to-end testing lifecycle: SIT, End-to-End, Regression, and UAT.
Design and execute business-focused test scenarios aligned to functional requirements.
Oversee test data management, defect tracking, and resolution across environments.
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure release readiness and quality compliance.
Track QA metrics, report status, and drive continuous quality improvements.
Mentor QA team members and support Agile and hybrid delivery models.
Skills:
Strong functional testing expertise across enterprise applications and integrations.
Experience developing QA strategies for complex, multi-system programs.
Hands-on manual testing with exposure to automation, BDD/TDD, and test accelerators.
Solid knowledge of defect management, test data strategy, and test environments.
Excellent analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing with a functional focus.
Proven experience leading QA efforts for enterprise system integrations.
Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $60,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
