The brand creative team is responsible for creating compelling visual content that showcases Claude's capabilities across all platforms and use cases. This is a net new role created to support our expanding video content needs across social, product, educational, and research. The contractor will report directly to the Video Creative Lead and collaborate closely with teams across marketing, product, education, and internal communications.
Role Scope
- Video Content Creation & Multi-Platform Support
- Edit engaging video content across multiple formats and use cases: social media, product demos, educational tutorials, research, and marketing campaigns
- Create compelling short to medium-form videos that showcase Claude's features and real-world use cases across various contexts
- Develop educational and instructional video content that helps users understand and maximize Claude's capabilities
- Support major product launches and internal initiatives with comprehensive video content strategies
Creative Development & Brand Consistency
- Partner with teams across marketing, product, education, and internal communications to translate complex AI features into accessible, engaging video content
- Maintain and evolve Claude's authentic, approachable visual voice across all video formats and use cases
- Develop video templates and frameworks for recurring content types across different departments and initiatives
- Contribute to video style guide development and best practices across the organization
Autonomy Expectations
- Own the video editing process from concept to publication with minimal oversight
- Work independently to meet deadlines while proactively communicating blockers
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, education, internal communications, design, and community
- Escalate strategic decisions while maintaining autonomy over tactical execution
Mandatories
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of professional video editing experience across multiple formats and use cases (social media, product, educational, corporate communications)
- Experience editing for technical products, preferably in AI/tech industry
- Portfolio demonstrating versatility across different video formats: social content, product demos, educational tutorials, and corporate communications
- Experience supporting product launches and internal initiatives through video content
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
- Understanding of video best practices across multiple formats and use cases (social, product, educational, corporate)
- Ability to create engaging video content that explains complex technical concepts for various audiences
- Strong grasp of AI/tech industry terminology and trends
- Motion graphics and animation skills (After Effects preferred)
- Experience with different video formats: short-form social content, medium-form educational content, product demos, and corporate communications
