Description:Akima is seeking a Network Engineer IV serves as a senior technical resource responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, security, and operational support of enterprise-wide network infrastructure. This position provides Tier III support and subject matter expertise for complex LAN/WAN/WLAN, VoIP environments in support of mission-critical federal systems. The Network Engineer III leads troubleshooting efforts, engineers scalable network solutions, ensures compliance with federal security mandates, and contributes to modernization initiatives including cloud integration and software-defined networking (SDN).
