Cloud Engineer

Summary

Aces Quality Management is currently seeking a reliable, skilled, and experienced
Cloud Engineer. In this role, you will design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and
highly available cloud infrastructure alongside a team of highly skilled professionals.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

- Support development, test and production environments including after-
hours support, release management, and monitoring server usage and up-
time.
- Monitor system performance, availability, cost, and reliability; proactively
identify and resolve issues.
- Design, implement, maintain, and support cloud-based infrastructure in both
Azure and AWS.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting tools.
- Migrate customer data from retiring colocation data center infrastructure to
cloud environments.
- Support IT compliance and security requirements, including auditing, logging,
access controls, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in on-call and after-hours support rotations as required to ensure
high availability and uptime.
- Perform all responsibilities in adherence to change management policies and
procedures. 

Qualifications / Competencies

- Experience with a scripting language (e.g., Powershell, bash, Python)
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Exposure to configuration management or Infrastructure as Code systems
(e.g., Puppet, Terraform, Ansible)
- Solid server administration skills (Windows or Linux)
- Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPC/VNet design, routing, load
balancing, DNS, and secure connectivity)
- Experience supporting databases in the cloud (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server,
managed database services, backup/restore, and high availability)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced
SaaS environment
