Role Overview

Bigspark is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex AI-driven technology initiatives for a major UK enterprise client. The role will focus primarily on legal and compliance technology programmes, with exposure to AI-enabled decision support, automation, and data-led platforms.

The successful candidate will bring strong delivery governance, stakeholder management, and a proven track record managing AI or advanced analytics projects in regulated environments. Experience delivering HR technology projects is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and data-driven technology projects, from initiation through to implementation and handover

• Manage projects within legal, compliance, and risk domains, ensuring alignment with regulatory and governance requirements

• Own delivery plans, RAID logs, budgets, milestones, and reporting across multiple workstreams

• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, legal/compliance teams, data scientists, engineers, and third-party vendors

• Ensure AI solutions meet ethical, regulatory, and data governance standards, including model transparency and auditability

• Drive delivery using Agile, hybrid, or waterfall methodologies as appropriate

• Support dependency management across parallel programmes and wider transformation initiatives

• Proactively identify risks related to AI adoption (data quality, bias, explainability, compliance) and implement mitigation strategies

• Provide clear, executive-level updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering AI, data, or advanced technology projects

• Experience with Legal and HR AI projects.

• Responsible AI, model governance, or regulatory AI frameworks

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with legal, compliance, and senior business leaders

• Strong governance, documentation, and reporting discipline

• Experience managing multi-vendor or systems integrator delivery models

• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous transformation programmes
