Job description

Position Overview

Nexford University is seeking a Technology Operations Intern to provide Learner Support, maintain SaaS platforms operations, automations, and workflow improvements that strengthen the digital learning experience. This internship provides hands-on experience with Incident and problem management ( ITSM) systems, LMS Support, Customer support, IT Operations, and cross-functional collaboration within an innovative ed-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a first point of contact for technical support questions from internal Nexford teams and external learners.
Help with internal operations such as onboarding, offboarding, tools audits, organizing information, cleaning up records, tagging data, and preparing inputs for reports and dashboards.
Support the team in investigating SaaS tools and reviewing system workflows and processes to spot issues and suggest practical improvements.
Collaborate with Technology, Product, and Academic teams on weekly tasks and projects, while gaining exposure to how tech issues are identified and resolved.

Required Qualifications

Excellent communication skills with a learner- and customer-focused mindset with a genuine interest in helping others and improving their experience.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to ask questions when something isn’t clear.
Interest in technology operations, incident management, and ed-tech platforms.
Ability to learn new tools quickly and work independently in a remote environment.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, LMS, or ticketing tools is a plus, but not required.
