In 2024, ACST launched a bookkeeping service to provide churches with the financial support and expertise they need to grow healthy, thriving ministries. Our mission is simple: to help churches simplify, organize, and manage their finances so they can focus on what matters most—serving their communities.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for passionate full-time bookkeepers with experience in QuickBooks Desktop to join our team. If you’re excited about using your skills to make a meaningful impact and help churches succeed, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll do for our customers:

? Maintain and reconcile their general ledgers

? Process accounts payable, including invoice verification, payments, and vendor reconciliation

? Generate financial statements and reports

? Ensure compliance with accounting policies and assist with audits

? Identify and implement process improvements

What we’re looking for from you:

? 3-5 years of General Ledger bookkeeping experience (or similar); relevant certifications are a plus.

? Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Desktop, specifically Premier and Enterprise, is required. 

? Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

? Comfortable serving as a point of contact for clients, providing responsive, solutions-focused support

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

? Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills

The hourly base pay for this position typically starts between $17.50 - $25.00. Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, location, and equity with internal team members.
