100% Remote DevOps Engineer

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer for a 100% remote opportunity supporting an innovative organization in the healthcare technology space. The ideal candidate will partner closely with software and bioinformatics teams to enhance system reliability and support regulated product workflows.

Required:

· 5+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience

· Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

· Expertise in Terraform and Docker

· Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

· Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting

· Experience with configuration management and workflow automation

· Proven collaboration with software engineering and data-focused teams

Preferred:

· Experience with Kubernetes

· Background in biotech, diagnostics, or life sciences environments

· Familiarity with regulated software standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304)

· Exposure to AWS environments

· Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional startup settings

Responsibilities:

· Design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure within GCP using Terraform

· Automate deployments, system configuration, and monitoring processes

· Optimize workflows between engineering and data teams to improve efficiency

· Support documentation and process controls to maintain regulatory readiness

· Ensure cloud environments remain secure, reliable, and scalable

The base pay range for this position is $125,000/yr – $145,000/yr, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
