Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python + JS) - Autonomous Vehicles

We're hiring a solid full stack engineer to join our client team.

About our client

This position is offered through a consulting partner for our client. You'll operate as a core contributor, collaborating directly with our client product and engineering teams to build and scale a mission-critical SaaS platform used to control and monitor autonomous industrial vehicles in real time.

This is not a short-term or support role.
Youll be treated as part of the clients team, owning real problems and production systems.

• Backend services processing real-time data streams from distributed systems.
• Frontend applications that must remain fast, intuitive, and resilient under load.
• APIs and architectures that must scale without becoming fragile.
• Production systems that require debugging, refactoring, and long-term thinking.

Core requirements (non-negotiable)

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer.

• Strong backend experience in Python (production systems).
• Solid frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience building and maintaining SaaS platforms or distributed systems.
• Experience in EDA.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, APIs, and databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architectures.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend components of a cloud-based SaaS platform.
• Design and implement REST APIs and real-time data processing pipelines.
• Build responsive, maintainable, and intuitive user interfaces.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases in production environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and production troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with WebSockets or event-driven architectures

• Familiarity with mapping libraries (e.g., Mapbox) and geospatial data

• Exposure to IoT platforms or autonomous systems

• Experience with real-time dashboards or data visualization

• Performance optimization across backend and frontend

• Familiarity with time-series databases.
