Data Analyst – Python-High, JSON APIs, SOAP services, and SFTP data feeds
Data Analyst with strong Python expertise and hands-on experience working with structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources, including APIs and file-based feeds. The role involves data extraction, transformation, analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and maintain data analysis workflows using Python
● Extract and process data from JSON-based REST APIs, SOAP services, and SFTP data feeds
● Clean, validate, and transform data to support reporting and analytics use cases
● Collaborate with engineering and business teams to understand data requirements
● Troubleshoot data issues related to API integrations and file transfers
● Document data flows, logic, and assumptions clearly
Required Skills
● Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, etc.)
● Hands-on experience with JSON APIs and RESTful services
● Working knowledge of SOAP services
● Experience handling SFTP-based data feeds
● Understanding of data formats (JSON, XML, CSV)
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
● Experience with SQL and databases
● Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
● Familiarity with scheduling and automation tools (Airflow, Cron, etc.)
