ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for a Social Impact Manager to support the International Coaching Federation (ICF).  In partnership with the Director of Social Impact, you will lead strategic design, execution, and evaluation of multiple global social impact programs for the ICF Foundation. This role drives alignment with organizational strategy, oversees program teams, and cultivates high-level partnerships to maximize impact. This position will collaborate with stakeholders to plan, execute, and evaluate program activities to ensure the achievement of program goals and objectives, according to the ICF/ICF Foundation strategic plan.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop and lead strategic plans for social impact programs aligned with organizational goals 
  • Provide thought leadership and advise executive leadership on social impact initiatives.
  • Oversee program budgets and resource allocation for global initiatives.

Volunteer Leadership and Management

  • Supervise and guide stakeholders including staff, ambassadors, and volunteers
  • Collaborate with the Director of Social Impact to foster a positive and collaborative work environment to maximize performance for the Council of Ambassadors
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to stakeholders

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders (program partners, etc..)
  • Communicate program updates and progress to stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and meetings 

Event Support and Storytelling

  • Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of ICF events and other major conferences to showcase the work of the Foundation (Converge, Summit etc..) 
  • Work with internal staff team, vendors and ICF Marketing to develop compelling narratives and success stories to showcase program impact.

Program Evaluation and Reporting

  • Implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to measure impact.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders. 
  • Ensure alignment with ICF/ICF Foundation strategic plan
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, nonprofit management, social sciences) 
  • At least 3+ years of experience in program management or a related role.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams, including the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify program challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in using project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and database management systems.
  • Highly detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
  • PMI Certificate in Project Management preferred
